Hey buddy, if you can. Get a Colt Delta Elite handgun for our buddy SomeNavySeals down there. I want to prove a point to him.

How bad is the kick on the gun? Even full steel handguns have issues taming the 10mm Auto.

10mm is not bad to me, might be an issue for rapid fire however. As far as how the gun will hold up. Its a Wilson Combat........ Enough said LOL

True enough. I think SomeNavySeals was assuming my dislike was towards the 1911 design. But my beef is with the catridge, which is why I prefer the Delta Elite over the orignal Goverment model. However the Wilson combat is basically a custom Delta Elite for less money. And my CZ 75 [SP01] is even less than a Wilson Combat in price.

The .45 ACP is a decent catridge but it lacks sheer velocity that other catridges offer. Like I said to him earlier, the 10mm auto has more force at 100 yards than the standard .45 ACP does at point blank [from a 4 inch barrel]

The only reason the Colt Delta Elite is more expensive is due to the collector value. If you want a good 10mm 1911 then Wilson Combat is the only choice for me. Wilson has made some major improvements in frame strength compared to the original Colt 10mm. That being said the CZ 10mm is still better in all accounts in my book, and the Glock 10mm is the king of the hill currently for long term reliability. I shot a new SF 10mm no to long ago, the SF frame feels really nice

Glocks have amazing durability but they are just way too light for me and it makes them too unweildly to control, even more so in 10mm auto [G20] Which is why I love the all steel CZ 75
